Seminar on 'Current Trends In Pharmaceutical Sciences'

Today the every field of study is developing with an unprecedented speed and the same is true for the pharmaceutical sciences. It becomes important for the student of pharmacy to be abreast of the current trends and developments regarding the related fields because health care of the population is the most important asset of a progressing and prosperous country.

This seminar aims to make the students of various pharmaceutical or medical institutes and research centers, attending Spirit’12, aware about the current trends in the pharmaceutical industry, giving them an opportunity to converse with the industrial technical experts; providing them with first-hand information about various technologies like palletisation; nanotechnology; Novel Drug delivery techniques; Molecular Medicine; Proteomics; Biomarkers etc… The lectures in the seminar would be delivered mostly by Industrial Scientists and other experts in their relevant fields in Pharmaceutical Sciences covering some of the above topics. This would act as a new learning experience for the attending students and also increase their awareness about the new developments happening in the industry.
