New Department Building

The construction of the new department building is underway. The building will consist of three stories and will consist of faculty offices, lecture rooms, laboratories, conference hall and will be equipped be all modern research and communication facilities.

Foundation of the new department was laid on 25 June 2007 by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Punjab Singh with the initial amount of Rs. 50 lakh granted for single story. By the rigorous efforts of the Head of Department Prof. K.N. Rai, recently Rs. 1 crore 10 lakh 80 thousand have further been sanctioned for the construction of two more floors.
